In January I was invited to attended the Shoot from the Heart workshop that Monica Stanley and Stacey Fantin had put together for photographers who wanted get off the auto setting. Tina my friend asked me to attend just to hang out with her for the trip, I thought it sounded fun so I agreed to go and I’m so glad I did. I had met Monica and Stacey at the I Heart Faces | Orange County Workshop in California in 2011, they are wonderful photographers, and super nice ladies. In exchange for attending the workshop I helped with things they needed and was able to snap off a few pictures during the styled model sessions. The attendees were so fun and by the end of the workshop Monica had them working in Manual mode! So fun to see people develop skills in photography! Tina and I got to see a little bit of Phoenix on the drive to our hotel from the airport, I really liked it! Plus the workshop was held in a beautiful museum!! I had some great evening chat with Tina and talked photography at the workshop, totally a great weekend!
Here are a few images I got from the styled session, the girl is Monica’s beautiful neice!
